Many believers love God but live as though His acceptance must be earned every morning.
When they pray well, they feel close to Him. When they struggle, fail, or become distracted, they withdraw in shame. But your relationship with God was never founded upon your perfect performance.
It was founded upon grace.
Ephesians 2:8 declares, “For by grace are ye saved through faith.” Grace is not merely how your Christian journey began; it is the foundation upon which your relationship with God continues.
My book, Amazing Grace: The Foundation of Our Relationship with God, calls us back to that foundation.
When you fail, do not run from God—return to Him. Confess honestly, receive His mercy, and allow grace to teach you how to rise again. Grace does not excuse spiritual carelessness; it gives you strength to grow without condemnation.
I speak over you today: shame will no longer drive you away from God. You will rediscover the joy of being loved, received, and strengthened by grace. Your relationship with God will become deeper, freer, and more alive.
